A fun course designed to improve your knowledge of Digital photography. Set against the inspiring backdrop of the Aran islands, this course will be over two days.
This course is intended to be a relaxed way to develop your camera skills and inspire your approach to picture taking. It will cover all the practical aspects such as shutter speeds, f-stops, depth of field. We will also delve into picture taking. What makes a great shot? The light, composition and techniques that gives that extra interest to your shots.
We will show you how to work with your images afterwards, effective editing and how to colour correct and tweak for printing.
There will also be time available to answer any individual questions. By all means bring any photos you may have that you would like advice on.

Instructor: Patrick studied photography at the School of Visual Arts and Parsons School of Art and Design in New York City. For the past 15 years his work has appeared in many international magazines and advertising campaigns and has clients in the US and Europe. Patrick is currently living in Ireland and working on some personal fine art photography projects. His work has appeared recently at the RHA Gallery, Rua Red and the New York Photo festival. Patrick also teaches several courses a year in Ireland on Digital Photography, fashion and location photography.
